The Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) scoop for the week of September 14 hints John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will wake up a changed man.
Also coming up this week, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will hold out hope that her daughter survived the explosion, Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will be furious with Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) gets an offer.
Viewers should note, DOOL will be preempted Thursday, September 17, and Friday, September 18 but will return with new episodes on Monday, September 21.

Over with Hope, who will have an enlightening conversation with Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva). Whatever she learns from the villain will have her doubting Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) is actually dead and wondering if she can still save her.
Meanwhile, Eric will get an offer that could change his life. His old friend Angie (Nzigna Blake), who he spent time with in the Congo, will show up and pitch a job to him. It may involve helping people and he’ll debate whether he should take it or not. If he takes it, he’ll have to leave Salem, so he’ll have a big decision to make.

Other spoilers tease Belle Black (Martha Madison) will be displeased this week. She’ll discover Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) trying to form an acquaintance with her daughter. Belle will tell Jan to hit the road. And Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) wants to get rid of Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) at Titan for good. But what will he be willing to do to accomplish his goal?
Finally, now that John is conscious, Marlena Evans (Deirdre Hall) will notice a stark change in him. He’ll have some violent flare ups and rumor has it John’s first target will be Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). Will Marlena be able to help John get through this difficult time?
